Meine beiden Kollegen, die mit mir in Bangkok Tropenmedizin studieren, die arbeiten schon seit Jahren in Myanmar und versuchen, wie viele hier in Thailand und den anderen Nachbarländern Hilfe zu organisieren.

Sie wissen, wie sie Geld ins Land bringen können und sie können das vielleicht sogar besser als die internationalen Helfer aus dem "Westen", die an der Grenze warten. Sie wissen, wie man Geld im Sinne der Menschen in Myanmar arbeiten macht.

Sie tun das seit langem! Es ist einfach ihr Job, als Ärzte zu arbeiten.
